If you are already employed, or are about to start a new role, TASS can support you throughout your employment.
Support for Employees
How we can support you in work:
-
Task-Switching and Organisation
Prioritising and organising your tasks can be challenging and overwhelming! Your TASS support worker can assess and organise your tasks with you, making sure that you feel comfortable and capable with your workload.
-
Planning your working day
We will work alongside you to create daily, weekly, even monthly plans for your working day, incorporating all key aspects of your role, as well as breaks and down-time! With our easy-to-follow plans and timetables, you’ll get the most out of your working day.
-
Attending Meetings
Whether it’s a quick catch-up with your team, or a one-to-one with your manager, meetings can be overwhelming! Your support worker can attend these meetings with you, to take notes, recommend breaks, and assist with communication. We can also debrief with you afterwards!
-
Breaking Down Information
In a work environment, it can be hard to gather and process information, especially if it changes or develops. Your support worker will work closely with you, helping to pick up and clarify information.
-
Effective Communication
There are many styles of communication in a workplace, and not all of these work for everybody! Your TASS support worker can help you to understand communication styles, advise on how to communicate in different scenarios, and ensure that you feel as comfortable and capable as possible at work.
-
Note-Taking and Reminders
Keeping track of notes and reminders can be a significant challenge. Our team will work with you to develop customised systems that fit your needs, ensuring that you stay organised, remember key details, and manage your tasks with ease. Let us help you streamline your workflow and enhance your productivity.
